Rob Daly

Director

Rob Daly has over 22 years experience in applied software engineering, using a combination of leading processes and tools and a commitment to serve his customers. In 2003, Daly sold his majority interest in Number Six Software, Inc., a Washington, DC area software engineering firm he co-founded in 1994. While Rob was at Number Six, all growth was through revenue, not capital investment, and Number Six was "in the black" every quarter since its inception. Rob then co-founded and serves as Chairman of 5AM Solutions (http://www.5amsolutions.com), which has followed the same growth model – 5AM has no external investment and is growing steadily. In 2008, Rob joined with Paul Duvall to secure ownership and leadership of Stelligent, where he currently serves as a director supports the mission of helping customers deliver production-ready software every day.

Though now more often engaged in leadership and management roles, Daly is an acknowledged expert in object technology and has contributed to and reviewed acclaimed technology books including the UML 2 Toolkit. He was pleased and proud to be acknowledged as an influence and reviewer for the Jolt Award-winning Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk, by Paul Duvall. His latest endeavor is 430 Mobile Corporation (http://www.430MoCo.com), which plans to serve the mobile market, initially targeting iPhone application development with an mHealth focus. He holds a BS in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In his spare time, Rob also serves several non-profits, and is on the board of the Sea to Shore Alliance (http://www.sea2shore.org).
